If Not, Go to Setting > Audio and check your GUI and Helmet volumes, also check your Master Volume!
When you get ready to Departure on Tarawa Use the F10 menu and tell that you are READY TO DEPARTURE and wait for the confirmation message.
When you get near the FARP, also use the F10 Menu to ask them to turn FARP Lights ON !

- As you approach the Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) near Waypoint 8, use the F10 Menu to request the FARP lights to be turned ON for night operations.

SITUATION UPDATE:
All pilots, please be advised of the updated mission details. Our mission objective is to rescue a soldier who is being held captive in a terrorist camp located at 37 S CA 3041 5782. The soldier's safety is paramount, and our task is to ensure a successful rescue operation.
MISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Flight Assignments:
- There are two flights: ALPHA and BRAVO. Ensure that you board a helicopter belonging to your respective flight.
2. Helicopter Rearming:
- Take off from Tarawa with no weapons, only fuel. Helicopters must be rearmed at the FARP LONDON (WP08) before proceeding with the rescue mission.
3. FARP Operations:
- Use the F10 menu to control FARP lights (on/off). Land in front of the tires. In case of technical issues, backup helicopters are available at the FARP.
4. Rescue Operation:
- We have the precise location of our prisoner at 37 S CA 3041 5782. Clear the area to ensure a safe landing zone for our rescue helicopter. After landing, use the F10 Menu to initiate the rescue operation.
5. Mission Caution:
- We lack intel on enemy defenses and potential reinforcements. Before initiating the rescue, confirm that the area is secure. Exercise extreme caution; the safety of our aircraft depends on it.
6. Route Safety:
- Stick to the predetermined route. Any deviation from the specified path jeopardizes the safety of the aircraft. Although the route is deemed safe, be vigilant for possible attacks, especially on the way to the FARP. Do not stop; maintain a steady pace.
RESCUE LANDING ZONE:
- Coordinate for the rescue at the specified landing zone: 37 S CA 3044 5778. This point is crucial for the safe extraction of our soldier. Ensure this point is added to your navigation systems.
MISSION OBJECTIVE:
Our objective is clear: rescue our soldier and return safely. Trust in your training, communicate effectively with your flight members, and execute the mission with precision. Remember, success depends on your collective efforts.
